Team members from both our Hooksett & Merrimack center spent the day learning, collaborating, and gaining valuable tools to bring back to our classrooms at the Pyramid Model Conference held in Connecticut In October 2025.
The Pyramid Model

The Pyramid Model is three-tiered framework composed of evidence-based practices that promotes healthy social-emotional and behavioral development in young children. The Pyramid Model promotes learning by building healthy and positive relationships among the children, families and staff.

Above & Beyond Childcare prides itself of using Pyramid Model practices to
teach social and emotional skills such as:
- developing friendships
- identifying and managing emotions
- following directions
- sharing and taking turns
- understanding routines
- problem-solving skills
​
Each school has a dedicated program coach and leadership
team that works together to implement Pyramid Model practices center wide.
